About James Grenton

I write thrillers with a social message. I graduated from Oxford University with a BA in History and Economics and then obtained an MSC in Business Studies from a French business school. I started my career in financial journalism before moving to the international development sector, where I worked for 15 years and travelled extensively across Africa, Asia and Latin America. I was also the founding CEO of a fast-growing NGO. I also have an MA in Journalism and a PhD in Sociology. My passion is social issues and writing - hence why I focus on writing what are known as 'intelligent thrillers'.
